About Warfarin
Description
Warfarin is an oral anticoagulant (blood thinner) that decreases the clotting ability of blood by inhibiting vitamin K-dependent clotting factors. It is used to prevent and treat blood clots in veins, arteries, lungs, or heart.

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), atrial fibrillation, mechanical heart valve replacement, prevention of thromboembolic events, myocardial infarction prevention
